Open to collabs.

I'm Umbra. I build things in the dark and ship them in the light.

Websites, apps and games, made by a developer who also plays too much, streams a bit and records the process. Everything below runs in your browser. Try it.

Neon Drift is a one-button drift racer I wrote on the Canvas API. Hold to drift right, let go to drift left. Space bar works too.

Five ways I spend my time

They feed each other. Games teach me what feels good, the web teaches me how to ship, and the camera keeps me honest.

Web development

Fast, accessible sites that load before you blink. HTML, CSS and JavaScript first, then React and Next.js when the project needs them.

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js

Game development

Small, replayable games with tight controls. I start with the feel of one button and build outward from there.

  • Canvas
  • Game loops
  • Unity
  • Godot

App development

Installable apps that work offline and feel native on a phone.

  • PWA
  • React Native
  • Flutter

Content creation

Devlogs, build-with-me videos and short clips. I record the messy middle, not just the finished thing.

Gaming

Where most of my ideas start. Right now I'm playing:

    Hi, I'm Umbra

I'm a developer who learned the web by breaking it on purpose. That curiosity turned into a habit: build a small thing, learn one new trick, ship it, repeat.

I like projects where code, design and play meet. A timer that feels calm. A game you can restart in a heartbeat. A portfolio that you can actually use.

When I'm not coding, I'm gaming, editing videos, or sketching the next idea on whatever's nearby.

    How I work

    Ship small, ship often
A finished small project teaches more than a perfect unfinished one.
    Make it accessible
Keyboard, contrast and screen readers are part of done.
    Respect load time
Fast pages respect people's time and data plans.

    3. 2024 – 2025 First lines of code
